The Wayne County Schools Career Center is accepting applications for the position of:

Animal Science (Long Term Substitute)

STARTING DATE: As soon as possible

SALARY: Substitute salary schedule

REPORTS TO: Andrew Johnson, CTE Supervisor

WORK WEEK: As per board-adopted calendar

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

  • CTE Licensure or CTE Substitute License issued by the Ohio Department of Education, or ability to  obtain.
  • Any qualifications required by the Wayne County Schools Career Center Board of Education.
  • BCI and FBI criminal records results less than one-year old must be submitted prior to initial employment.

BASIC FUNCTIONS:

To provide effective instruction in Animal Science, following the course of study. This responsibility involves preparation and planning, both long range and immediate; understanding and applying effective professional teaching methods; and developing and maintaining effective pupil, parent and community relationships.

DESIRABLE

QUALIFICATIONS:  • Proven ability to develop curriculum
                                • Prior experience working with high school age students
