Provide classroom and laboratory instruction to high school students for employment or further education in the field of engineering and manufacturing. Facilitate student participation in designing projects and defining criteria for projects. Provide opportunities for students to earn various industry credentials. Establish and communicate clear objectives for lessons, units, and projects. Evaluate student performance, work cooperatively with parents, community, business/industry, and school personnel to maintain a program which meets Department of Education and Workforce industry standards. Serve as SkillsUSA advisor.
A valid Ohio career-technical engineering or manufacturing certificate or license, or a high school diploma with at least five years of industry experience in the engineering field is required.
Standard School Year, 186-day base contract + 5 extended days for 1st year
