250-Day Contract, Year-Round
Requirements:
A valid Ohio principal’s license, master’s degree in education or a related field, and at least five years of successful teaching experience.
Preferences:
Experience as an administrator or leadership experience at the secondary level. Experience implementing PBIS and/or MTSS frameworks. Strong background in restorative practices and student behavior supports. Experience analyzing student data to drive behavior, attendance, and academic interventions. Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, families, and stakeholders.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead student discipline and school climate efforts by consistently enforcing the code of conduct using restorative practices, investigating incidents, and maintaining accurate records in alignment with state and district policies. Guide and support PBIS and Integrated MTSS implementation by facilitating team meetings, analyzing behavior and attendance data, and coordinating Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions. Develop and reinforce clear behavioral expectations while supporting staff with effective classroom management and monitoring the impact of interventions to ensure continuous improvement. Oversee attendance systems and interventions, including monitoring data, implementing improvement plans, and partnering with families and outside agencies to address barriers. Supervise and support aides and staff, provide training, and coordinate key operations such as summer programming and student supervision at school events. Build strong relationships with students, families, and staff while collaborating with school teams to support student success. Lead school safety efforts by coordinating drills, emergency procedures, and crisis response plans, partnering with local agencies, and ensuring staff and students are trained and compliant with safety requirements.
